Who publishes these guides
The guides on this site are published by the editorial team at Dummy Tickets Visa (DTV). We sell flight reservations, so we have a commercial interest in the subject. We say so here, and we keep the guides useful whether or not you buy anything from us.
Where our facts come from
Requirements, fees and dates are taken from official and primary sources: government immigration websites, embassies and consulates, the European Commission, official visa application centres, airlines and IATA. Each guide lists its sources at the end. We use other websites only to find the official page, never as the source of a rule.
How a guide is produced
- We choose a question that applicants really ask.
- We research it and write a draft. We use software tools, including AI, to help with research and drafting.
- Every fee, date, rule and quotation in the draft is checked against the official source before the page is published.
- The page is published with the date of its last review.
What we will not publish
- Promises about visa decisions. No document guarantees a visa.
- Advice on misleading an embassy, an airline or an immigration officer.
- Invented statistics, invented customer stories or invented quotations.
- Text copied from other websites.
Dates and updates
Visa rules change, sometimes with a few days' notice. Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. When a rule changes we update the page and its date together. A date is never changed without a real change to the content.
Limits of our guides
Our guides are general information. They are not legal or immigration advice, and they cannot cover every personal situation. Consulates apply the same rule differently, and the official source always wins. Check the current requirement with the embassy, consulate or official application centre before you apply.
Corrections
If you find a mistake or an out-of-date rule, email contact@dummyticketsvisa.com with the page address and the official source. We check every report and correct the page when the report is right.
