Dummy ticket delivery time: what to expect, and what to do if it's late

Typically 10–20 minutes after your payment is confirmed, during working hours. Weekends, holidays and busy periods can take longer.

Quick answer

A flight reservation from Dummy Tickets Visa (DTV) typically arrives by email or WhatsApp 10–20 minutes after your payment is confirmed, during working hours. Our terms say delays can happen at weekends, on holidays and in busy periods, and DTV has not published its working hours. You can also pick a later receiving date on the order form, and the reservation is issued on that date.

The dummy ticket delivery time at Dummy Tickets Visa (DTV) is typically 10–20 minutes after your payment is confirmed, during working hours. The PDF comes by email or WhatsApp, whichever you chose on the form. It is not instant, and our terms say it can take longer at weekends, on holidays and in busy periods.

This page explains when the clock starts, what happens to late-night and weekend orders, how to choose the day your reservation is issued, and what to do if nothing arrives. The ordering steps themselves are on how it works.

Dummy ticket delivery time after you pay

The typical 10–20 minutes counts from the moment your payment is confirmed, not from when you open the form. That is when the booking desk makes the reservation in the airline's system and sends the PDF with its PNR.

  • UPI (India): pay with the QR code, then send the payment screenshot on WhatsApp. Send it straight away, because the order moves once the payment is confirmed.
  • PayPal or card (outside India): about US$8.50 per passenger. Check that the payment has gone through; a failed or pending card payment holds up the PDF. Paying with PayPal or card shows the screen.

The reservation is made from exactly what you typed, so check names against the passport before you pay. A mistake found after issue means a new reservation, not a faster one.

Working hours, and ordering from the Gulf or the UK

Our terms and conditions give the time as 10–20 minutes "during working hours". DTV has not published those working hours, so we cannot give you a start and finish time in Indian, Gulf or UK time. The same typical time and the same possible delays apply wherever you pay from.

If you are ordering late in the evening in Dubai, Riyadh or London with an appointment the next morning, message us on WhatsApp before you pay. Say when you need the PDF and ask whether the order will be issued in time. That one message is more reliable than any guess about the desk's hours.

Urgent dummy ticket: ordering for today

An urgent dummy ticket is the same ₹699 reservation, ordered with today's date under "When do you want to receive it?". There is no separate express option listed on the site, so ordering earlier in the day is the only way to give yourself more margin.

A worked example. Your VFS appointment is at 11:00 tomorrow and it is 18:00 now. Order now, send the UPI screenshot at once, and expect the PDF typically 10–20 minutes after that, during working hours. Look up the PNR on the airline's website tonight and again before you leave. If you wait until 08:00 tomorrow, you depend on the typical time holding with almost no slack, and a weekend or busy-period delay could leave you without the document.

Leave room for printing and checking

The typical time is not a promise. If you still need to print the PDF or check the PNR, allow at least a few hours between ordering and leaving for your appointment.

Orders placed overnight, at weekends or on holidays

Our terms say delays may occur at weekends, on holidays and in high-volume periods. They do not name a fixed extra number of hours, so we do not give one here. An order placed late at night can also sit until working hours begin.

If your appointment falls on a Monday or the day after a holiday, order a working day earlier and set the receiving date to the day before the appointment. The reservation is then issued on that date, and you are not relying on the typical time on a busy morning. When to book a dummy ticket works through other timing situations.

Choosing the date your reservation is issued

You can choose any receiving date, and the reservation is issued on that date rather than the day you pay. The question is in step five of the order form: "When do you want to receive it?".

Our standing advice is to receive the reservation one day before you need it. A reservation is a temporary hold, and how long it stays live depends on the airline, so DTV does not publish a validity period. For example, if your appointment is on Thursday 15 October 2026, you might order on Monday 12 October and set the receiving date to Wednesday 14 October. Check the PNR on Wednesday evening and again on Thursday morning. How to verify your PNR shows the check.

If your dummy ticket has not arrived

First check the three common causes.

  1. The receiving date: if you chose a later date, nothing arrives before it.
  2. The payment: for UPI, make sure the screenshot reached us on WhatsApp; for card or PayPal, make sure the payment went through.
  3. Your inbox: look in spam and promotions for an email with a PDF attached.

If all three are fine and it is well past the typical 10–20 minutes, message us on WhatsApp with your order ID. You can ask for the PDF to be resent, or sent by WhatsApp instead of email. Help with an order covers this and other after-sale problems, such as a misspelt name or a moved appointment.

Do not place a second order

A slow delivery is a reason to message us, not to pay again. Orders are final once issued, so a duplicate order is a second non-refundable charge.

Late delivery and refunds

DTV has not published a refund or credit for late delivery. The refund policy covers orders once the reservation is issued: from then on they are final, non-refundable and non-transferable. If your order has not been issued and the wait puts your deadline at risk, message us on WhatsApp with your order ID and the time you need the PDF by.

Before you order against a deadline

  • Choose today's date under "When do you want to receive it?" only if you need the PDF today.
  • Send the UPI payment screenshot on WhatsApp straight away.
  • If it is late at night, a weekend or a holiday, ask on WhatsApp about timing before you pay.
  • Allow time to print the PDF and look up the PNR before you leave.
  • If nothing arrives, message WhatsApp with your order ID rather than paying twice.

Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF come by email or by WhatsApp?

By the method you pick under "How should we deliver it?" in the last step of the order form: email or WhatsApp. If you chose email and cannot find it, check spam first, then message us on WhatsApp with your order ID and ask for it to be sent there instead. The ordering steps are on how it works.

Does choosing a later receiving date cost more?

No. The price is ₹699 per passenger for a one-way or return reservation whatever date you choose, or about US$8.50 outside India. The date only decides when the reservation is issued. Combinations such as flight plus hotel are priced on our price page.

Is delivery faster if I pay by card instead of UPI?

DTV does not publish a difference. The typical time runs from the moment your payment is confirmed. With UPI, that depends on you sending the payment screenshot on WhatsApp, so send it straight away. With PayPal or card, make sure the payment has gone through. Paying by PayPal or card covers that screen.

Can I change the receiving date after I have paid?

Ask on WhatsApp with your order ID and the new date, before the date you first chose if you can. Once the reservation has been issued the order is final, so a request after that is a request for a new reservation. Help with an order covers this and other changes.

Need the reservation for your visa file?

A flight reservation with a PNR you can check on the airline website. ₹699 per passenger, delivered in 10–20 minutes.
